Monday through to Friday Term time we offer family forests schools open to any child between 2 – 5 years,Baby siblings under 2 FREE. It’s a nurturing, fun, creative space for children to learn, develop, grow in confidence and have lots of memorable first experiences with their grown-ups. With lots of opportunities to explore, experiment and be part of a team , children learn about the woods, wildlife, the seasons, themselves and each other.

Here’s what Hedgehogs will be getting up to this term……
Forest School with Hedgehogs is time for using all our senses to explore the woods, nature and our environment with our adult and friends. We often start with a little song getting to know each other’s names and faces. Every session varies from the one before and we all take part in a range of activities and games. We help prepare fires, go on woodland adventures exploring different parts of the forest, use our imagination to create things from natural materials, play games, make fairy and elf gardens, use tools, make dens, tell stories,
cook up delicious fir-cone flans in the mud kitchen, set up cafes, go on minibeast hunts, relax in the hammocks, play with our friends, laugh a lot, have fun and get to know each other. There is so much to learn and find out about the different seasons, plants and animals in the woods where we always learn something new. It is quality time spent with your little one outdoors whilst making happy memories. Baby siblings under 2 FREE. Wednesday morning will never be the same again!
Information about this site: We have created a seating circle for you all to enjoy group time. The site does not have toilets.
