• Stanley stick!
    07/08/2019
    2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

This workshop is being run by Mel….a sticktastic expert and good with her tools!

Head to the story telling circle and listen to the story of Stanley stick! Its a great story and has lots of ideas of what to do with all those amazing sticks you may find in the wood.

Then we will go on an adventure in the woods with our journey sticks.  When we get back to our camp we will get out our tools and have a go at making a stick creation! You could make a boat that floats, a bow and arrow or some wild stick jewelry.

Finally we will collect sticks for the fire and try and make them into a huge tower.  We will light a fire and whittle a stick using a sheaf knife/peeler (under the supervision of an adult) to toast a marshmallow on.

Age 5 years – 11 years,  accompanying adult free(max two adults). Tickets are for children only. Baby siblings free/welcome.

Note. Please arrive and be ready to go 10 mins before the workshop starts, the group can be anywhere in the woods and it may be hard to find them.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
